Benjamin Ndi

Investment Officer

Benjamin has over 3 years’ professional experience working with SMEs in Central Africa, especially in private equity.

Before joining Fako Capital, Benjamin was an Investment Officer at Investisseurs & Partenaires, a pan-African investment fund, where he worked on the analysis, investment and monitoring of the Central African portfolio in several sectors.

A financial specialist, Benjamin holds FMVA (Financial Modelling & Valuation Analysis) certification, and is also in the process of finalizing his CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst). Prior to joining I&P, Benjamin gained extensive experience in SME corporate finance, risk analysis and risk management with an international credit insurance firm.

Benjamin holds a Master’s degree in Market & Investment Finance from Skema Business School in France.

Christie Babei

Seed Funding Officer

Christie holds a degree in Business Studies from the Ecole Supérieure des Sciences Economiques et Commerciales (ESSEC) in Douala, Cameroon, and a Master’s degree in Finance from the Faculté des Sciences Economiques et Commerciales (FSEGA) at the University of Douala. She has 4 years’ professional experience. She has worked as a consultant in the Finance Department of the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and as a financial analyst for I&P’s Expansion range.

Before joining Fako Capital, Christie was Cameroon Seed Project Manager at Investisseurs & Partenaires (I&P).

Dominique Mewoli

Analyst

Dominique is a financial analyst with over 3 years’ experience and a Master’s degree in Banking, Money and International Finance. In the course of her career, she has developed extensive knowledge and skills in identifying investment opportunities, carrying out strategic and financial due diligence, and monitoring SME portfolios to help them grow.

Before joining Fako Capital, she worked at Fitrade-Partners as Head of the Advisory department, where she helped evaluate financing opportunities and organize fund-raising events. She also worked as a consultant at Performance Consulting Group, helping to draw up business plans for SMEs and carrying out financial and organizational audits. Her diverse experience has given her a solid understanding of corporate finance and investment, enabling her to provide invaluable support to companies.

Gérardine Ngankeu

Operations & ESG Analyst

Gérardine is an industrial maintenance engineer, convinced of the contribution of industry to the development and growth of Sub-Saharan African economies. Young and dynamic, Gérardine has developed skills in operational analysis, industrial maintenance management and optimization of HSE issues within companies.

Before joining Fako Capital, Gérardine was Sales Engineer at Tractafric Equipment in Cameroon and Investment Officer at FIATOPE. She has also worked for a number of industrial companies, including ENEO Cameroun, COMETAL and KALITAS, on projects involving electricity, public works and maintenance of production equipment.

Ghislaine Dikongue

Executive Assistant

Ghislaine is a bilingual executive assistant with over 7 years’ experience. With her professional training, Ghislaine has developed skills in office administration, document management, diary management, administrative writing and reception management.

Before joining Fako Capital, Ghislaine worked as an Executive Secretary for several companies in Cameroon, including AF CONSULTING and CEB La MEUBLERIE.

Vivian Tchuente Tchatchueng

Managing Director

Vivian has 13 years of professional experience in the service of SMEs, including more than 10 years in the financing, support and consulting of SMEs in Central Africa (Cameroon, Gabon, DRC) and West Africa (Ivory Coast, Ghana, Senegal, Burkina Faso, Mali, Niger). He has 5 years of operational and managerial experience in the management of ESG issues (Environment, Social, Governance) within SMEs, but also Investment Funds. In addition, thanks to her rich experience, Vivian also has 5 years of specific experience in the management of SME Technical Assistance programs & funds (for the support and transfer of skills to SMEs, by experts & consultants). From 2019 to 2023, Vivian was the Country Director (Cameroon) of Investisseurs & Partenaires (I&P), where he managed the Central Africa portfolio, managed the local office of a team of 5 SME investment and support professionals, as well as managed about 20 consultants.

Vivian holds a Certificate in Business Strategy from HEC Paris, an MBA in Business Management from Pigier Cameroun and an Engineering Diploma in Industrial Maintenance and Production from the Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Sciences Agro – Industrielles (ENSAI) at the University of Ngaoundéré.
